At this facility, you can enjoy a variety of mountain and river delicacies throughout the seasons.
We look forward to serving you homemade dishes that make use of seasonal flavors, including river fish such as amago and ayu, and locally harvested wild plants and vegetables.

    This Kyoto-style kaiseki cuisine makes use of mountain produce, such as:

    *From late autumn to winter, the "pork and vegetable ceramic ware" is replaced with "pork and vegetable miso broth pot," simmered in the hotel's original miso broth.
    *As for river fish, we offer "salted grilled sweetfish" from early June until around October.
    From around November, it changes to "sweetfish with roe," and then to "salt-grilled sweetfish."

  • Botan Hot Pot (boar meat) plan

    This is the facility's "Botan Hot Pot (boar meat) made with miso broth."
    The mild flavor of this dish, which combines wild boar meat, winter vegetables, and mushrooms, is very popular every year.

  • Breakfast"Japanese set meal"

    "Steamed vegetables in a bamboo steamer" and "Ryujin raw shiitake mushrooms grilled on a ceramic plate" are some of the dishes on offer.
    A Japanese set meal that makes use of local mountain village produce.
    (It may also be simmered in syrup.)

    The miso soup, which is based on dashi stock, and rice are also popular and delicious.

Children's meals

Introducing local sake

This facility offers a wide variety of local sake from Wakayama Prefecture.
The head chef and a liquor store owner, who is a certified sake taster, have carefully examined the wines and selected them based on their taste, which will go well with the cuisine at this facility.
Please enjoy some local Wakayama sake.
  • Black Cow(Pure rice wine)

    In the Manyo period, the area was called "Kuroushigata" (Black Cow Lagoon) because a large black cow-shaped rock was visible between the waves.
    A masterpiece from Meite Shuzo, a brewery in Kuroe, Kainan City.

    Fermented at a cool temperature, it has a fragrant and delicious taste.
    It is a versatile drink that doesn't feel too acidic.

    In addition to pure rice sake, Kuroushi is available in three varieties: unfiltered raw sake and pure rice ginjo sake made from 100% Yamadanishiki rice.
  • Koyasan Hannyayu(Pure rice wine)

    Koyasan Koyasan is a pure rice sake brewed by Hatsuzakura Sake Brewery, located on the banks of the Kinokawa River, using groundwater from the Katsuragi mountain range.
    You can enjoy the rich, savory flavor.

    (Hannya-yu is a type of bath used by the strict Koyasan of Mount Koya.
    It is an alcoholic drink that is said to have been drunk to survive the harsh cold of winter.)

    Pure rice wine from Ozaki Sake Brewery in Shingu City.
    This pure rice sake is made by pumping up well water that seeps out from the groundwater of the Kumano River and continuing to maintain handmade brewing methods.
    It is a drink that has a rich, full-bodied flavor and umami taste, but also has a crisp, clean taste that you will never get tired of drinking.
